Our Environmental Commitment
Ablebox is committed in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment and driving continual improvement in how processes affect the environment. This will be achieved through using hazard and risk analysis principles to identify any environmental impacts, the efficient use of resources and utilities, promoting recycling and reducing waste along with preventing pollution.
The environmental policy applies to all manufacturing and processing operations within the business.

Ablebox is proud to be the first box maker in the UK to achieve Carbon Neutrality, with our team being really supportive of the process.
We hope to inspire our customers, suppliers and competitors to go carbon neutral as well.
Plastics Reduction Commitment
Ablebox recognise that waste plastics pose a global threat to the marine environment and to our region generally. Within the context of our Environmental Policy we commit to minimising the use of plastics:
Audit & Target Setting
Identify and audit use of single-use plastics and set targets for reduction
Alternative Materials
Find alternatives to plastics where possible, i.e. switching to paper cups for drinking water
Recycled Plastics
Where plastic use is unavoidable, use recycled plastics where practicable
Behavior Change
Promote behaviors that reduce reliance on plastics, encouraging tap water in reusable bottles
Recycling Infrastructure
Providing plastic recycling bins to promote recycling where plastic waste is generated
Site Housekeeping
Maintain housekeeping standards at sites to prevent escape of plastic litter
